Women Empowerment

Vulnerable Women

Twezimbe Centre Integrated Development Programme  strives to continue contributing to the improved quality of life of the widows by empowering them to take control of their own lives and work together for their mutual development. This is portrayed through our achievements over the years.

 

How we empower vulnerable women

  • Facilitate the widow’s group meetings at Twezimbe Centre and in the two outreaches.
  • Handle loan payment, savings, and banking.
  • Training new widows in savings and credit management
  • Refresher Course for widows in savings and credit management at Twezimbe centre
  • Train widows to acquire skills in making bar soap, organic farming, and energy-saving stoves so as to work towards self-reliance at the center and in the outreaches.
  • Follow up on widows to assess their economic situation.
  • Loans follow up.
